Us, which features a thorough guide to these difficult-to-place varied unusually limited printings. The book comes complete with its very rare original dust jacket. This is the first book of Tolkien's iconic Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Boards are lightly edgeworn; spine is lightly soiled. Binding is very tight and square; the text and illustrations are very clean, bright, and crisp. The large fold-out map is in excellent shape.

Measures approximately 9 x 6-inches. The dust jacket is typically very chipped and faded as these jackets were made of highly acidic paper (please see pics).

It comes securely sleeved in ph-neutral mylar, ready to slip into your collection. This classic first will make a wonderful addition to your collection or a very special and thoughtful gift.
