The first UK editions were these 2nd printings, first printings were the first USA edition sheets. This is a very iconic set for fans of a certain age. It was the first to use Tolkien's own art on the covers. Scuffing to all edges, read several times, covers are the original color but the spine colors are faded and have reading creases.
