Lord of the Rings 1978 Tolkien 2nd American Edition dust jackets slip case Maps

  

Lord of the Rings book set. Internal age states 1965 but dust jackets and slip cover state 1978. In all books the text is bright, good top colour, end papers/paste downs excellent condition. Dust jackets in removable Brodart covers. Maps in perfect attached condition.

Some chipping to dust jackets, NOT price clipped, one slightly folded page at the back of ROTK and all books have the expected mustyness of age. The slip case has expected signs of wear and these appear to have been a part of a personal collection, as they all have an embossed stamp.
