It was published in 1971, and is in beautiful condition for over 50 years of age! I hope the pictures do this wonderful book justice..... You can see in pictures 2,3 and 8, just how clean the pages are....

Originally published in 1954-56 as 3 separate books. In 1971 BCA published for the first time in Hardback all 3 books in one large 1000 + page volume. The same book was published in 1968 in paperback. It would be 3 years later before being released in this hardback form. The Book is in beautiful condition considering it's over 50 years old!

This is a rare first edition First print in hardback of The Lord of The Rings, in one volume..... It has been in the family as long as I`ve been alive! I`m hoping to find a new owner for this collectible piece of history.... Fingers crossed I`ll find this lovely book a new home. Please see my other items for sale..
