First impression of The Folio Society edition, 1977. Quarter leather bound books with grey cloth sides, bluish grey top edge, gilt decoration to the front and spine, map endpapers, black and white illustrations. The spines have wear and several scuffs or scratches, otherwise tidy copies with square, secure bindings, bright pages, no inscriptions. The box has a small split to the top corner of the opening, but this only affects the surface material, not the card structure, so it remains firm, with some tanning and a little wear. Will be carefully bubblewrapped and packed in a box.
