The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Box Set Second Edition Maps

  

The Lord of the Rings by J. Second Edition, Revised (on inside front flap of DJ). Each book has fold-out map attached to inside back cover; all are intact, clean, and don't appear to have been opened. Books have gilt lettering on spine, publisher's dye on top text blocks, Table of Contents.

Each book measures about 5 ¾ x 8 ¾. The Fellowship of the Rings. The Return of the King. Has several Appendices, Index of Names, 440 pages.

Dust jackets have some wear/tear, mainly around corners, edges, and spine areas. Hardcovers have some light wear, bumping to corners, edges, and spine areas. Pages are relatively clean; no tears, marks, or writing; Fellowship has a few corner creases, and Return of the King has pages from Synopsis through page 35 where top text block dye has bled onto and across tops of pages and/or has left splotches/smears.

Each book has the publisher's square deboss at the lower right of the back cover. Pages are all secure to the spine/bindings.

Box has some wear/tear, mainly around edges, with a bit of corner separation, and discoloration/fading. Note that I have described the books as best as I can. Look closely at all 12 photos for details and condition as they are also part of the description.
